It is our policy to protect the health of our employees and others (under our jurisdiction) by exercising all reasonable steps necessary to prevent accidents and ill health at work.
Our approach is to assess risk for all work activities and to implement all control measures deemed necessary.
Where we are working at premises other than our own, it is our policy to comply with all on site health & safety procedures. Where we notice hazards which represent a risk to our employees or others, it is our policy to report these to the representative on site and to take appropriate precautions.
As a minimum it is our policy to comply with all legislative requirements, but where specific occupational risks are evident, to exceed these requirements.
It is also our policy to raise awareness of health & safety issues at work amongst our employees by carrying out on going training on relevant health & safety issues.
Nicolas Seal is the Director responsible for health and safety management. Any queries or concerns relating to health & safety should be raised with him.
Under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, employees also have a duty to take reasonable care for his/her own health and safety, and for the safety of other people who may be affected by his/her acts or omissions. Every employee must therefore co-operate with any planned arrangements to enable all statutory duties to be complied with and the risks to health and safety to be minimised.
